Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (16 oz.) can green beans
- 1 large can tomato sauce or pizza sauce
- 2 tsp. chopped onion
- 1 c. biscuit mix
- 1/3 c. milk
- Cheddar cheese, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
Method
- Brown beef; drain off fat.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Stir in onion, beans and sauce.
- Beat until stiff and sticky the biscuit mix and milk.
- Wrap a little dough around a cube of cheese and seal.
- Drop into simmering mixture.
- Cover; simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Serve with a green salad.
