Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 can tomato wedges
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. macaroni
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. mild cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Brown ground beef.
  • Cook noodles following box directions. While noodles are cooking, add pepper, onion and tomato soup to ground beef.
  • Simmer about 15 minutes.
  • When noodles are done, layer half of the noodles and half the ground beef.
  • Mix: 1/2 tomato wedges and 1/2 cheese.
  • Repeat with the remaining, ending with cheese on top.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes, until cheese is melted.
