Ingredients

  • 2 lb. smoked ground ham
  • 2 lb. lean ground pork
  • 1/3 c. tomato juice
  • 1 c. cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • juice from 1 can crushed pineapple
  • several dashes of ground clove spice
  • dash of salt
  • mustard to taste
  • brown sugar to taste

Method

  • Mix the meats, juice, milk, eggs, crackers and spices and shape into a loaf; place into a greased pan.
  • Make mixture of drained crushed pineapple, mustard and brown sugar and spread across top of loaf.
  • Bake at 425° for 10 minutes and 45 minutes at 375°.
