Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. chopped green onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 c. milk
  • 4 oz. sharp shredded cheese
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 3 medium potatoes, cooked and diced
  • 1 lb. cooked ham, diced

Method

  • Cook onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Stir in flour and pepper. Add milk all at once and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; add cheese and mayonnaise; stir until cheese melts. Combine potatoes and ham with sauce. Bake in a 9 x 13 pan at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
