Ingredients

  • 1 pound Dried Peas or Split Peas
  • 1 piece Onion, Large, Diced
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 6 cups Diced Ham
  • 8 pieces Bacon, Cooked, Diced
  • 2 tablespoons More Than Gourmet Classic Roated Condensed Chicken Stock
  • 1 tablespoon Summer Savory
  • 1 piece Bay Leaf
  • 1 head Cauliflower, cut into large pieces
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Pepper
  • 6 cups Water, Hot

Method

  • Soak peas for 2 days in water.
  • Combine condensed chicken broth in 6 cups of hot water.
  • In large stock pot combine all ingredients.
  • Cook on low heat for 7 hours.
  • Stir soup frequently.
