- 1 pound Dried Peas or Split Peas
- 1 piece Onion, Large, Diced
- 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 6 cups Diced Ham
- 8 pieces Bacon, Cooked, Diced
- 2 tablespoons More Than Gourmet Classic Roated Condensed Chicken Stock
- 1 tablespoon Summer Savory
- 1 piece Bay Leaf
- 1 head Cauliflower, cut into large pieces
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 teaspoon Ground Pepper
- 6 cups Water, Hot
Method
- Soak peas for 2 days in water.
- Combine condensed chicken broth in 6 cups of hot water.
- In large stock pot combine all ingredients.
- Cook on low heat for 7 hours.
- Stir soup frequently.
