Ingredients

  • 150 grams Pancake mix
  • 2 Eggs
  • 100 grams Margarine
  • 3 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 300 grams Kabocha squash (with skin and seeds removed)
  • 1 Icing sugar
  • 1 any you like Stencil
  • 1 Margarine for greasing

Method

  • Cut the kabocha squash into small pieces.
  • Put them in a heatproof bowl, wrap and microwave for 8 minutes.
  • Mash when softened.
  • Add margarine to the kabocha, wrap and microwave for another minute.
  • Add granulated sugar, cinnamon, egg and pancake mix and mix well.
  • Grease a rice cooker bowl with margarine and pour in the mixture from step 3.
  • Switch on the normal rice setting!
  • If it doesn't cook the first time, cook it again.
  • When it's done, let it cool a little, invert and transfer to a plate.
  • Put the paper stencil on the top and sprinkle on some icing sugar with a tea strainer.
  • Remove the paper stencil very carefully.
