- 3 medium onions, sliced thinly
- 1 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 3/4 c. cider vinegar
- 2 small jars mushrooms
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. pepper
- 1 (No. 2) can Chinese vegetables
- 1 (No. 2) can LeSueur English peas
- 1 (No. 2) can French-style green beans
- 1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
Method
- Do not drain liquid from vegetables.
- Mix all and marinate overnight. Lasts weeks. Serves 12 to 16.
