Ingredients
- 1 gal. green tomatoes
- 2 c. vinegar
- 2 c. sugar or 4 to 5 Tbsp. liquid sweetener
- 2 c. hot pepper
- 2 c. onions
- 1 box pickling spice
Method
- Quarter tomatoes.
- Soak about 6 hours in 1/4 cup salt and cover with water.
- Wash and put in vinegar mixture.
- Simmer about 30 minutes.
- Do not overcook.
- Seal in jars.
