Ingredients
- 1 lb. steak, cut into 1/2 x 1-inch strips
- 1 Tbsp. Crisco oil
- 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
- 2 c. water
- 1 large green bell pepper, cut into strips
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with 1/2 c. water
Method
- Fry steak in oil until brown; do not flour.
- Add onion soup mix and water; mix well.
- Simmer about 30 minutes until done.
- Add strips of green pepper; cook until tender.
- Mix cornstarch and 1/2 cup water; add to mixture.
- Stir until thick.
