Ingredients
- 2 sinks full of green tomatoes
- 2 heads garlic
- 1 handful fresh ground cumin
- salt to taste
- red chili powder to taste
Method
- Wash tomatoes; quarter and remove all seeds.
- Peel garlic.
- Put all ingredients in large pot with a quart of water.
- Watch pot so tomatoes won't stick.
- Add water as needed.
- When all tomatoes are tender, take off stove and cool.
- Run everything through blender. Return to stove; bring to a boil.
- Put in quart jars and process 45 minutes.
- Makes 7 to 9 quarts.
