Ingredients
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 clove mashed garlic
- 3 cups chopped plum tomatoes
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 bayleaf
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb cooked pasta, drained
Method
- 1. Heat oil in a large saucepan.
- 2. Saute onions and garlic until translucent.
- 3. Pour in tomatoes and broth.
- 4. Once it boils, lower heat.
- 5. Add spices and simmer 30 minutes until sauce is thick.
- 6. Pour sauce over pasta.
