Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground Chuck
  • 1 whole Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 whole Green Pepper, Medium Chop
  • 2 stalks Celery, Medium Chop, Including Leaves
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 8 ounces, fluid Can Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 8 whole Hamburger Buns

Method

  • Brown meat with chopped onion; drain.
  • Add green peppers, celery and leaves; cook until soft.
  • Add ketchup, tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar and Worcestershire sauce; stir well to combine.
  • Simmer 1520 minutes before serving.
  • Note: To save on time and money, omit the green pepper and onion and use half of small bag of a frozen pepper and onion stir fry blend.
