Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 2 eggs
- 3 c. flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavor
Method
- Cream sugar and butter; add eggs, one at a time. Add remaining ingredients.
- Knead dough on floured board. Chill 30 to 45 minutes.
- Roll out on floured board; cut with cookie cutter.
- Bake at 325° for 8 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar/cinnamon.
- Yields 2 1/2 dozen large cookies.
- Enjoy while hot.
