Ingredients
- 6 (1/2-inch thick) pork chops (about 2 lb.)
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can golden mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. rubbed sage
- 1 chopped carrot
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 medium green pepper, cut into strips
Method
- Brown pork chops in large nonstick skillet.
- Remove pork chops and drain.
- Combine soup, water and sage in skillet.
- Add carrot and onions.
- Arrange pork chops over soup mixture, cover and simmer over medium heat 15 minutes, stirring and rearranging pork chops once.
- Add green peppers.
- Cover and cook an additional 10 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
