Ingredients

  • 6 (1/2-inch thick) pork chops (about 2 lb.)
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can golden mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. rubbed sage
  • 1 chopped carrot
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 medium green pepper, cut into strips

Method

  • Brown pork chops in large nonstick skillet.
  • Remove pork chops and drain.
  • Combine soup, water and sage in skillet.
  • Add carrot and onions.
  • Arrange pork chops over soup mixture, cover and simmer over medium heat 15 minutes, stirring and rearranging pork chops once.
  • Add green peppers.
  • Cover and cook an additional 10 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
