Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) pie crust
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme leaves
  • 3/4 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (11 oz.) can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Spread crust with butter. Cook beef and onion until meat is browned. Spoon into pie crust. Whisk undiluted soup, eggs, milk, salt, pepper and thyme. Pour mixture into pie crust. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
