Ingredients
- 1/4 lb. margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. corn syrup (Karo)
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. pecan halves or pieces
Method
- Cream butter.
- Add sugar, creaming until light and fluffy. Add slightly beaten eggs and other ingredients.
- When all is blended, pour into unbaked pie shell.
- Bake on lower shelf of oven at 350° for 45 minutes.
- Makes two 9-inch pies.
