Ingredients
- 2 thinly sliced round steaks
- 2 tsp. mustard
- salt and pepper
- 1 medium onion
- 1 small dill pickle
- 2 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. flour
Method
- Sprinkle meat tenderizers on each side and pound.
- Spread mustard thinly over meat; season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle chopped onion and pickle over each piece and place bacon over each piece.
- Roll up and fasten with toothpicks.
- Brown in small amount of fat.
- Add 1/2 cup water and simmer 1 hour or until tender.
- Use flour to make a paste to thicken gravy.
- Serve over meat.
