Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. butter or 2 Tbsp. bacon fryings and 1 Tbsp. lard
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. finely sliced onion
- 1 to 2 c. finely chopped cabbage
- 6 to 8 boiled potatoes, chopped
Method
- Peel and boil the chopped potatoes.
- Heat in skillet the first 4 ingredients until very hot.
- In bowl, put the chopped cabbage and the chopped potatoes.
- Pour the ingredients over it; mix well. Return to stove until all is hot.
- Serve at once.
