Ingredients

  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 box German chocolate mix
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 box confectioners sugar
  • 1 stick butter or margarine

Method

  • Mix coconut and pecans.
  • Spread evenly on bottom of 9 x 12-inch greased and floured pan.
  • Mix cake mix according to directions on box.
  • Pour over nut and coconut mixture.
  • Melt butter and mix with cream cheese.
  • Fold in confectioners sugar. Pour over cake mix evenly.
  • Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool before cutting.
