Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. peanut oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp. fresh ginger root, chopped
  • 2 lb. green beans
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. rice wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. dark sesame oil

Method

  • Heat peanut oil in wok.
  • When hot, add garlic and ginger root. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add beans, sugar, red pepper and fry, stirring constantly for 2 minutes.
  • Add soy sauce and vinegar. Cook for 2 minutes more and turn off heat.
  • Drizzle sesame oil into pan and toss with beans.
  • Can be quite spicy!
