Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) can garbanzo beans, drained
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. lemon juice (depends on tartness)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. water
- finely chopped parsley for garnish
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
Method
- Place garbanzos, lemon juice, garlic, salt and water in blender or processor.
- Puree or blend well.
- Add more water if a thinner consistency is desired.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and drizzle olive oil over the top.
- Serve as an appetizer with chips or pita bread.
