Ingredients
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4 c. plain flour
- 2 large eggs
- pinch of salt
- 5 level Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Cream the sugar and butter well.
- Add eggs, one at a time, and beat very hard.
- Stir in cocoa and flour, mixed together.
- Stir like mad.
- Fold in nuts and add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
- Bake in a 9-inch square pan.
