Ingredients
- 4 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 3 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips or 4 c.
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 c. butter or oleo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Mix sugar and milk in a large heavy saucepan and slowly bring to a rolling boil.
- Let this boil for 8 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and add chocolate chips, marshmallows and butter.
- Mix only until the chips and marshmallows are melted. Add vanilla and nuts. Blend.
- Spread the mixture in a large ungreased pan or platter.
- Let cool.
