Ingredients
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. miniature marshmallows
- 6 oz. (1 c.) chocolate morsels
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- vanilla wafers
- 1 qt. vanilla ice cream
- 2 c. pecans
Method
- Combine evaporated milk, marshmallows, morsels and salt in saucepan; stir over medium heat until thick.
- Line bottom of 9-inch pie pan with vanilla wafers.
- Spoon out 1/2 quart vanilla ice cream over wafers.
- Cover with half the chocolate mixture. Repeat again.
- Put pecans on top.
- Freeze 3 to 5 hours.
- Serve. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
