Ingredients

  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 6 oz. (1 c.) chocolate morsels
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • vanilla wafers
  • 1 qt. vanilla ice cream
  • 2 c. pecans

Method

  • Combine evaporated milk, marshmallows, morsels and salt in saucepan; stir over medium heat until thick.
  • Line bottom of 9-inch pie pan with vanilla wafers.
  • Spoon out 1/2 quart vanilla ice cream over wafers.
  • Cover with half the chocolate mixture. Repeat again.
  • Put pecans on top.
  • Freeze 3 to 5 hours.
  • Serve. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
