- 3/4 c. (1 1/2 stick) Butter
- 2 squares (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
- 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. buttermilk
- 2 eggs, at room temperature
- 3/4 c. whipping cream
- 1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and chocolate, stirring over low heat.
