Ingredients
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 4 1/2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
Method
- Mix cocoa, sugar, salt and milk; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium.
- Cook until a soft ball forms when dropped in cold water or stir a little in a small amount of peanut butter until it becomes hard.
- Remove from heat and stir in margarine, peanut butter and vanilla.
- Add pecans, if desired.
- Mix well and pour on wax paper (use a cut open paper bag under the wax paper).
- Let cool and cut into squares.
