Ingredients
- 2 c. rolled oats
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. margarine or butter
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 3/4 c. preserves or jam
Method
- Combine all ingredients, except preserves in a mixing bowl. Beat with electric mixer on low until mixture is crumbly.
- Reserve 2 cups of mixture.
- Press remaining mixture onto bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
