Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. melted butter or margarine
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. whipped cream or Cool Whip

Method

  • Mix flour, walnuts, brown sugar and butter until crumbly. Place in a cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
  • Whip egg whites, sugar, strawberries and lemon juice for 10 minutes.
  • Fold whipped cream into strawberry mixture.
  • Place 1/2 of crumble mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan, cover with strawberry mix, then crumble rest of mixture on top.
  • Cover and freeze for 6 hours.
