Ingredients

  • 6 c. sugar
  • 4 c. boiling water
  • 4 pkg. peach gelatin (3 oz. each)
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice
  • 2 (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice
  • 1 gal. water
  • 1 1/2 oz. almond extract
  • 2 liters chilled ginger ale

Method

  • Mix a syrup of sugar and boiling water. Add any flavor of gelatin to hot syrup.
  • Stir well until dissolved. Cool syrup.
  • Mix in lemonade, orange juice, pineapple juice, water and almond extract.
  • Freeze.
  • (Freezes well in five 1/2 gallon milk cartons.) Thaw at room temperature 3 hours before serving.
  • Add ginger ale before serving.
  • Punch should be slushy.
  • Serves 100.
