- 6 c. sugar
- 4 c. boiling water
- 4 pkg. peach gelatin (3 oz. each)
- 1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade
- 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice
- 2 (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice
- 1 gal. water
- 1 1/2 oz. almond extract
- 2 liters chilled ginger ale
Method
- Mix a syrup of sugar and boiling water. Add any flavor of gelatin to hot syrup.
- Stir well until dissolved. Cool syrup.
- Mix in lemonade, orange juice, pineapple juice, water and almond extract.
- Freeze.
- (Freezes well in five 1/2 gallon milk cartons.) Thaw at room temperature 3 hours before serving.
- Add ginger ale before serving.
- Punch should be slushy.
- Serves 100.
