- okra
- flour
- cornmeal

- bacon grease
Method
- Slice okra about 1/4-inch thick circles. Place in brown paper bag with equal amounts of flour and cornmeal, enough to cover. Shake well.
- Pour bacon grease in large skillet and get it hot. Add okra.
- Fry and turn often until crispy.
