Ingredients
- 1 qt. broth or water
- 3 c. cold water
- 3 c. cornmeal (white or yellow)
- 4 tsp. salt
Method
- Heat broth.
- Mix together cold
- water
- and cornmeal and salt. Add to hot broth and cook 1
- hour.
- Put
- in Pyrex bread pan to cool and then refrigerate.
- Slice 1/4-inch thick.
- Roll in flour and fry in skillet.
- Serve with apple butter, pancake syrup, etc.
