Ingredients

  • Unripe plantains (1 per person)
  • Pure Spanish olive oil
  • salt to taste

Method

  • Choose a plantain with yellow-green or all-green peel that is hard to the touch.
  • Remove peel and slice in about 1 inch perpendicular slices.
  • If it is too difficult to remove the peel, first cut off the ends and then make 4 end-to-end cuts through the peel only and gently lift and roll off the peel.
