Ingredients
- pie shell and top, unbaked
- 6 very large peaches
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- mace
- salt
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Method
- Wash peaches; peel and slice.
- Pour a little milk over the slices to prevent fruit from darkening.
- Then add sugar, flour, lemon juice, spices and butter.
- Bake in shell with lattice top in 400° oven one hour.
