Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. Wesson oil
- 2 medium eggs
- 2 to 3 c. chopped apples
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 2 c. flour, sifted
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Method
- Mix
- with
- spoon
- in mixing bowl the sugar, eggs and oil. Sift
- dry ingredients together.
- Gradually add to liquid mixture; mixing well.
- Add apples, vanilla and nuts; mix well. Pour into greased
- and
- floured tube pan.
- Bake in preheated oven 40 to 60 minutes at 350°.
- Do not open oven during first 30 minutes.
- A confectioners sugar glaze can be used.
