Ingredients
- 3 c. chopped apples
- 1 c. Wesson oil
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. pecans or coconut
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
Method
- Beat eggs.
- Add sugar and beat well.
- Add oil, then vanilla. Mix flour and apples with this.
- Bake 1 hour at 325° in loaf pan or large flat pan.
- While still hot, pour Buttermilk Icing on it, punching holes to allow icing to seep in.
