Ingredients
- 6 strips bacon
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cans French string beans
- 1 can or pt. tomatoes
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Cook bacon and set aside.
- Saute onion in bacon drippings. Drain.
- Drain green beans and add tomatoes in 2-quart pan on medium heat.
- Add sugar, salt, pepper and onion and cook 15 minutes.
- When ready to serve, add crumbled bacon.
