Ingredients
- 1 large onion
- 1 c. buttermilk
- pepper
- flour
- vegetable oil
Method
- Slice onion into 1/2-inch slices.
- Skin, salt and pepper. Marinate in buttermilk, about 1 hour.
- Pour 1 to 1 1/2 cups flour into a small paper bag.
- Drop onion slices into bag and shake until well coated.
- Drop into hot vegetable oil and fry until golden brown.
