Ingredients

  • 1/2 pounds Ground Turkey
  • 1/2 cups Onions, Diced
  • 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Frank's Red Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 whole Whole Grain Baguette, Cut In Half Lengthwise
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 5 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 cup Fresh Mozzarella, Sliced
  • 1/2 cups Black Olives Sliced
  • 1/2 cups Purple Onions, Sliced
  • 1/2 cups Mushrooms, Sliced
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan Cheese, Shredded
  • 1/2 cups Microgreens

Method

  • Preheat oven to 425 F.
  • On a pizza stone or baking sheet, place French bread.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and spread on the minced garlic.
  • Bake for 5-10 minutes until crispy and starting to turn golden.
  • Remove from oven, and set aside.
  • Meanwhile, make your meatballs.
  • In a mixing bowl add turkey, onions, bread crumbs, egg, Franks hot sauce, garlic salt and pepper.
  • Mix with your hands until well combined.
  • Form into small 1 inch sized balls.
  • Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat.
  • Give it a good spray with cooking oil.
  • Add in meatballs, and cook over medium high for 4 minutes per side.
  • Flip, and cook another 4 minutes, until meatballs look golden and cooked through.
  • Remove meatballs from skillet, and let them cool for 5 minutes.
  • Slice them into thin slices.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella on top of the bread.
  • Top with sliced meatballs, olive, onions, and mushrooms.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan over the top.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until veggies are tender/crisp and cheese is golden and bubbling.
  • Remove from oven, cut into your preferred size of pieces and top with micro greens.
  • Enjoy that thar pizza, dip her in some ranch too!
