Ingredients

  • 3 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (any brand)
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
  • dash of salt
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts or any other nut meat
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Method

  • In heavy pan, over low heat, melt chips with the Eagle Brand condensed milk.
  • Remove from heat; stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread evenly into waxed paper lined 8 or 9-inch square pan.
  • Chill 2 hours or until firm.
  • Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel paper off.
  • Cut into squares.
  • May store loosely in covered container in refrigerator or room temperature.
