Ingredients
- 1 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 9 oz. can crushed pineapple
- 3/4 c. soft margarine
- 2 eggs (room temperature)
- 1/2 c. walnuts
Method
- Drain pineapple and spread 1/2 wafer crumbs on bottom of dish. Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks.
- Fold in slightly beaten egg whites.
- Beat all together; fold in pineapple and chopped nuts.
- Pour mixture over wafer crumbs and top with remaining crumbs.
- Refrigerate 5 hours or overnight.
