Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef, lean
- 3 large onions, diced
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 16 oz. (1 can) tomatoes, stewed
- 1/2 c. rice (uncooked)
- 1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
Method
- In a large skillet cook ground beef until crumbly.
- Drain off fat.
- Add onions and green pepper.
- Cook until they are tender. Stir in tomatoes, rice, chili powder, salt and pepper.
- Mix well. Pour into a 2-quart casserole dish.
