Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef, cooked
  • 1 (10 oz.) can Ro-Tel tomatoes and green chiles
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz. cooked egg noodles

Method

  • To ground beef, add tomatoes/green chiles, oregano, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and sugar. Simmer for 20 minutes. Mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth, then add 2/3 of the Cheddar cheese. Add this mixture to the beef mixture along with the noodles. Pour into 9 x 13 baking dish. Add remaining Cheddar cheese on top. Bake at 350° until bubbly (about 30 minutes).
