Ingredients

  • cornmeal
  • 6 cups flour
  • 2 (1/4 ounce) packages yeast
  • 14 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 12 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Splenda sugar substitute
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method

  • spray 2 loaf pans with cooking spray and dust with cornmeal.
  • heat until warm- don't boil- the milk, water, splenda, and salt.
  • remove from heat and add yeast.
  • combine all ingredients.
  • divide dough in half and put into loaf pans.
  • sprinkle with cornmeal.
  • cover and let rise until doubled- about 45 minute bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
