Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. sm. curd cottage cheese
  • 2 (10 ounce.) Packages frzn spinach, drain well
  • 12 slices Kraft Old English cheese, or possibly sm. pkg.
  • 1 stick butter
  • 5 tbsp. flour, mix with 6 beaten Large eggs
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon salt (cut down)
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 slices bacon, fried very crisp

Method

  • Thaw spinach in colander; drain very well.
  • Cut cheese and butter into chunks.
  • Mix all together except bacon.
  • Put in 9 x 13 inch greased pan.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs.
  • Break bacon into bits.
  • Sprinkle proportionately on top.
  • Return to oven a few min.
  • Remove and let set before slicing.
