Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 c. tomato juice
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 c. uncooked macaroni
- 1/2 lb. ground beef, uncooked
- 1 c. grated cheese
Method
- Melt margarine in saucepan over low heat.
- Add macaroni and stir to coat
- thoroughly
- with
- butter.
- Add 2 cups tomato juice and bring to a
- rapid
- boil.
- Stir in ground beef.
- Add salt, pepper and sugar.
- Cover
- and reduce heat and cook 15 to 20 minutes.
- Remove cover and stir.
- Sprinkle cheese over top. Remove from heat, cover
- so
- cheese
- will melt.
- tossed or fruit salad will complete the meal.
