Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 lb. cubed beef round
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 1/3 c. condensed beef bouillon
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. noodles

Method

  • Cook oil,
  • beef and onion until onion is tender.
  • Drain off excess fat.
  • Add bouillon and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Bring to a boil,
  • reduce
  • heat
  • and simmer, covered, for 1 hour, or until meat
  • is
  • tender.
  • Add
  • mushrooms with liquid.
  • Combine sour cream
  • and flour; blend
  • into
  • meat mixture.
  • Continue cooking, stirring
  • occasionally, until thickened.
  • Serve over hot noodles. Serves 6.
