- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 lb. cubed beef round
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/3 c. condensed beef bouillon
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. noodles
Method
- Cook oil,
- beef and onion until onion is tender.
- Drain off excess fat.
- Add bouillon and Worcestershire sauce.
- Bring to a boil,
- reduce
- heat
- and simmer, covered, for 1 hour, or until meat
- is
- tender.
- Add
- mushrooms with liquid.
- Combine sour cream
- and flour; blend
- into
- meat mixture.
- Continue cooking, stirring
- occasionally, until thickened.
- Serve over hot noodles. Serves 6.
