Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/3 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 egg white
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 jar beef gravy
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
Method
- In large bowl, mix thoroughly beef, onion, bread crumbs, egg white and garlic.
- Firmly shape into 6 oval patties.
- Spray 10-inch skillet with vegetable cooking spray.
- Over medium high heat, cook 3 patties at a time until browned on both sides. Remove patties and set aside.
- Stir in gravy and mushrooms.
- Heat to boiling.
- Return patties to skillet.
- Reduce heat to low. Cover, simmer 20 minutes or until done, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot noodles.
- Serves 4 to 6.
