Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1/3 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 jar beef gravy
  • 1 c. sliced mushrooms

Method

  • In large bowl, mix thoroughly beef, onion, bread crumbs, egg white and garlic.
  • Firmly shape into 6 oval patties.
  • Spray 10-inch skillet with vegetable cooking spray.
  • Over medium high heat, cook 3 patties at a time until browned on both sides. Remove patties and set aside.
  • Stir in gravy and mushrooms.
  • Heat to boiling.
  • Return patties to skillet.
  • Reduce heat to low. Cover, simmer 20 minutes or until done, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot noodles.
  • Serves 4 to 6.
