- 1 (16 oz.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth
- 3 c. water (or less for thicker soup)
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
- 2 c. milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. chopped ham (optional)
Method
- Combine hash brown potatoes, onion, chicken broth and water in a large pot and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat thoroughly.
