Ingredients
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 or 3 Tbsp. water
Method
- Cut shortening into flour and salt with pastry blender or fork until mixture is consistency of cornmeal.
- Sprinkle water over mixture; blend lightly with fork.
- Use as little water as possible.
- Form into 2 balls.
- Roll out between 2 layers of waxed paper, that have been sprinkled with flour.
- Makes 2 (8-inch) shells or one double pie crust.
