Ingredients
- 5 c. sliced fresh peaches
- 1/2 c. margarine, melted
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
Method
- Place peaches in an ungreased 9-inch square pan and set aside. Combine flour and the next 3 ingredients, stir well.
- Spoon batter over peaches.
- Combine sugar and water, stirring well. Pour slowly over batter.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
- Yields 4 to 6 servings.
